Summary

In Concord, you play as the crew of the Northstar—a group of guns-for-hire known in our galaxy as Freegunners. The Freegunners roam the stars taking high-stakes jobs on worlds across Wild space, where they face other fiercely competitive Freegunner crews. From match-to-match, you’ll form your team of Freegunners with other players and battle it out with rival crews to take home the reward across a variety of maps and modes.

Story

In the far future, humans and humanoid aliens coexist across a distant reach of the galaxy known as the Wilds, a region cut off from the rest of civilization by the Tempest, a terrifying storm-like phenomenon that annihilates everything it touches and threatens to keep expanding. Within this isolated frontier, life is dominated by the Guild, a powerful mega-corporation that holds an iron monopoly over space travel and agriculture, enforcing its rule with a formidable private military. Standing in defiance of the Guild is a ragtag, loose-knit community of smugglers, pirates, and hired guns called the Freegunners, roaming the stars to take on dangerous jobs for pay. Bound by a rough camaraderie, these mercenaries watch each other's backs against the Guild's overreach even as rival crews inevitably clash over the same contracts, carving out their own legends in a lawless and perilous corner of space.
