Summary

The second Famicom game based on the Dragon Ball Z anime. The game retains the basic mechanics of its predecessor, while introducing features such as multiple-target attacks and auto-battle. Characters can also move together, improving the pace of gameplay. It is based on the Frieza Saga. Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu, who died during the battle against the Saiyans in the original story, survive and participate in the battles on Namek. A limited-edition gold cartridge was also produced as a promotional item and distributed to a small number of people at an event. It is also one of the games downloadable in the game compilation J Legend Retsuden for Nintendo 3DS.
