Summary

1990s: Windswept mining town Linshan, dependent on fading coal mines, worshipped a mountain god’s stele. After it cracked and oozed brown liquid, a strange illness spread. Lin Tianqing returned for his sick father, uneasy as the eerie town neared, having overheard whispers.

Story

In the 1990s, there was a small, isolated mining town named "Lingshan Town", where the cold winds blow all year round and the economy relies on an aging coal mine that is gradually depleting. Most of the residents in the town are descendants of miners, and most people in the town believe in the "Mountain God Stele". However, recently, the Mountain God Stele has suddenly fallen ill. Cracks have appeared on the stele, and brown liquid is seeping out from the cracks. At the same time, a strange illness has mysteriously spread in the town. The cause of the illness is unknown, and the number of people falling ill is increasing. After learning that his father was ill, Lin Tianqing hurried back to the town. The whispers he heard on the bus gave him an ominous feeling. Looking out the window at Lingshan Town, which was getting closer and closer and exuding a strange aura, he wondered what else would happen in the town next.
